Vice President, Global Audience Marketing, META
Judy (Statum) Toland is an award-winning CMO with an engineering foundation. Since
May 2023, she has been VP, Global Audience Marketing at Meta, overseeing audience
marketing, product marketing, strategy, brand, and activation globally for large
advertisers, agencies, partners, developers, and creators, bridging advertising and the
AI sides of the company. She has also led the Meta Chicago office since August 2020,
which was named a Chicago Tribune Top Workplace in 2021 and 2022.
Judy brings 31 years of experience across five industries (Tech, Chemicals, Automotive,
Financial Services, Health and Wellness) and five Fortune 500 companies (Meta,
Monsanto, Ford Motor Company, General Electric, Wells Fargo). Joining Facebook in
July 2019, her prior roles included VP, Scaled Solutions and VP, Global Customer
Marketing at Meta. Before Meta, she held Chief Marketing Officer roles at GE Capital,
Wells Fargo, and Life Fitness, where she managed all marketing aspects from GTM
strategy to digital marketing, brand, events, and an in house creative agency.
She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA in
Marketing from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Judy is the 2025 Northwestern
University Alumni Medalist and the Chicago Advertising Federation’s 2025 Woman of
the Year. Her 2023 honors include being named a Top 50 Women We Admire in
Marketing, Distinguished Alumnus of the Year by the University of Michigan Dearborn,
and a Private Company Director to Watch. In 2021, she was recognized as a Top Black
Executive in Chicago by Crain’s. She served as an Independent Board Director for Serta
Simmons Bedding, LLC (2021-2023) and is a 2020 Daniel Burnham Fellow. She serves
on the nonprofit boards for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, World Business
Chicago, and Goodman Theatre. She is also active in the Chicago Network, Economic
Club of Chicago, and the University of Michigan-Dearborn National Advisory Council.
She is the executive sponsor of Meta’s Woman@ (ERG) and Meta Elevate and has
actively championed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion throughout her career.
