Jacqueline Woods is the former Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Teradata and a key member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. As Teradata’s chief storyteller, she oversees all aspects of marketing and communications, including strategic marketing planning, advertising, brand management, digital and social properties, and customer engagement initiatives. Her role encompasses influencer marketing, public relations, events, and corporate communications, all aimed at creating enriching customer experiences.
A results-driven technology and marketing executive, Woods is recognized for her ability to lead corporate transformations and leverage modern marketing strategies that utilize data and insights to drive business outcomes. Her extensive experience spans both business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors.
Before joining Teradata, Woods served as Global Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at NielsenIQ, where she revitalized the company’s brand and perception. Her tenure at IBM spanned nearly a decade, during which she held several key roles, including CMO of the IBM Global Partner Ecosystem Division, focusing on cloud, data, AI, and SaaS strategies.
She also held leadership positions at General Electric and Oracle, where she honed her expertise in customer segmentation and experience.
Woods serves on the Board of Directors for Avaya Holdings Corp., and she is involved with the Community Reinvestment Fund USA and the Greater Fairfield County Foundation, Inc.
She holds a BS from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at USC. In 2022, she was named one of the CMOs to watch by the CMO Alliance.
