Lesleigh “LIU” Irish-Underwood is an award-winning growth, brand, and strategy executive who helps mission-driven organizations unlock their next chapter of impact. As a Fractional Chief Marketing & Development Officer with Chief Outsiders, she partners with social impact, corporate, nonprofit, and philanthropic organizations to accelerate growth through strategic marketing, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, brand transformation, and organizational effectiveness.
With nearly three decades of leadership spanning publishing, healthcare, behavioral health, and the nonprofit sector, LIU has built a reputation for translating complex challenges into clear strategies that inspire action and deliver measurable results. Beginning her career at Alfred A. Knopf/Random House, she developed a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling before going on to establish and lead transformative marketing, communications, and external affairs functions at MetroPlusHealth, Vibrant Emotional Health, and United Way of New York City.
Beyond her executive work, LIU is the co-founder of GldnHaus, a purpose-driven luxury lifestyle brand she created with her daughter to celebrate, uplift, and inspire through thoughtfully curated faith-based products, including candles and gifts. Rooted in the belief that everyone carries an inner light worth nurturing, GldnHaus reflects her lifelong commitment to building brands that foster genuine connection and lasting meaning.
